Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Stock Smith (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
What Stock Smith Is — and Is Not
Stock Smith is a research and educational tool. It provides Monte Carlo price projections, AI-generated analysis, an "Ask the AI" assistant, live trading signals, and autonomous trading bots. Stock Smith is not a registered broker-dealer, investment adviser, or financial planner, and nothing on the Service is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. All trading and investment decisions are your own.
Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
Subscriptions & Billing
The Ad-Free membership is billed through our payment processor, Square, on a recurring basis until cancelled. Eligible new members may start a one-time free trial; if you do not cancel before it ends, it converts to a paid membership. You can cancel anytime from the in-app billing page, and access continues through the end of the paid period. Prices may change on a prospective basis with notice.
The Real-Money Auto Traders (Ad-Free Membership)
The optional real-money Auto Traders can place real orders on your own connected brokerage and exchange accounts only after you supply your own API credentials and explicitly enable real-money trading. You remain solely responsible for your brokerage account, every order placed, and all resulting gains or losses. Markets, brokers, data feeds, and software can fail; you accept the risks of automated trading and agree that Stock Smith is not liable for any trading losses.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer it, scraping or reselling data, circumventing access controls or paywalls, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
No Guarantees
Projections and analysis are probabilistic models built from historical data. Past performance and simulated performance do not guarantee future results, and no outcome is promised. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stock Smith and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any trading or investment losses, arising from your use of the Service.
Changes & Contact
